In the eyes of artist Nick Veasey, it’s what’s inside that counts. Nick uses X-ray photography to create beautiful images inspired by the six pillars of The Macallan. This collection is very limited and will only appear on the packaging for our Sherry Oak 12 Years Old for the 2011 Holiday Season. It’s the perfect last second present for anyone who appreciates the beauty of a fine single malt scotch whisky.

This year’s addition to The Macallan in Lalique series celebrating the six pillars of The Macallan is as amazing as it is rare. This year’s bottle is inspired by our Curiously Small Stills, and features an exceptionally rare 60 years old vintage aged in a combination of Spanish and American Sherry Oak casks and released into the stunning Lalique decanter at its original cask strength of 53.2%. The result is a true work of art, called by Joel and Neil of Caskstrength.net as “the best whisky I’ve ever had.”

Roja Dove worked with Master Distillers Bob Dalgarno and Ian Morrison to produce 12 signature aromas to showcase the unmatched complexity of flavor in The Macallan.
